Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Droptop — the website at droptop.ai and the Droptop publishing and analytics service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Droptop lets you compose social media content, publish or schedule it to third-party platforms you connect (such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X), and view performance metrics for the content you publish. The Service is currently offered as an early-access beta and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued while in beta.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by the platforms you connect) to use the Service.

3. Connected platforms

The Service connects to third-party platforms only through their official APIs and OAuth authorization flows. When you connect a platform account:

• You grant Droptop the permissions shown on that platform's consent screen (for example, permission to upload and publish content on your behalf, and to read performance metrics for your content).
• Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms — for TikTok, this includes the TikTok Terms of Service.
• You can disconnect Droptop at any time from the platform's security or app settings, which revokes Droptop's access.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create, upload and publish through Droptop. You grant Droptop a limited license to host, process and transmit that content solely to operate the Service — for example, delivering a post you composed to the platforms you chose. You are responsible for the content you publish and for having the rights to publish it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• publish content that is unlawful or that violates the rules of a connected platform;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• send spam, engage in deceptive engagement practices, or circumvent platform rate limits or policies;
• probe, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.

6. Fees

The Service is free during the beta. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented before you are charged anything.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that creates risk for the Service, its users, or connected platforms. Upon termination we will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that connected platforms will accept, display or retain content, or that metrics reported by platforms are accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Droptop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
